About
About
menewz is an Israeli platform for building digital restaurant menus. You create a menu, get a print-ready QR code, and diners scan it and read it in their browser without installing anything.
A restaurant that invested in its interior, its tableware and its lighting reaches the digital menu and gets something that matches none of it.
Why we built it
In Israel a digital menu usually means one of two things: a system that looks cheap, or simply a photo of the menu that someone uploaded. It is not a question of age - there are brand-new systems that still look like a form. A restaurant that invested in its interior, its tableware and its lighting reaches the digital menu and gets something that matches none of it, and that diners have to zoom in to read. On top of that, Hebrew is nearly always handled as a translation layer over a product built in English, and it looks exactly like that. menewz was built from the other direction: the design is part of the product rather than an add-on, and Hebrew and RTL are the default.

What it actually looks like
Each of the 12 templates is a complete layout, not a colour skin. These are live demo menus, not renderings.
